We encourage our customers to visit us and get involved in the grape growing and wine making process wherever possible. Pruning, picking, crushing, pressing and bottling are all areas of work where friends and customers can get involved. Chris will make the time to teach you about what he does and knows if you keep in contact and make an appointment ahead of time.

Chris Shedley will explain the process involved in producing wine, from growing the grapes to choosing a barrel that is ready to bottle. He will guide you in the practice of bottling the selected wine.You can then purchase the wine at a heavily reduced price.

Our farm has several sizeable areas of native bush which are easily accessible on foot or mountain bike. The vineyard, sheep pastures and Eucalypt plantings are also very scenic and provide great rural walking opportunities. Many beautiful elevated picnic areas allow you to choose your very own lunch spot. The farm is surrounded by state forest which is rich with wild flowers in spring and the Blackwood River is close by for walking and canoeing trips.
